Event description

Learn to use OpenSCAD, a free CAD tool for people who like to program! This class will teach you how to create basic shapes and manipulate them to create 3D-printable and/or laser-cut-able objects.

Key points

  • Learn how to make basic shapes
  • Learn how to move shapes around
  • Learn how to make holes in shapes using other shapes

Prerequisites

Basic computer skills are necessary. Some programming experience (in any language) is encouraged, but not strictly necessary.

Ages: 7 and up; up to 2 children per registration. 
*Adult required to be with children during the event.
